      The sites are all legal. It is the act of downloading or uploading the movie and songs that is not yours that is illegal.
      Popular sites are torrent sites.
      Piratebay, mininova, demonoid and more.
      Some people condone it as long as you are just downloading it to sample the movies or songs before you go and buy the actual thing. I have found I end up sampling and not buying.
